Are you interested in making a difference in your community, but aren’t sure where to start? Join us for a complimentary workshop focused on Non-Profit Boards and Community Roles to explore how engaging with a non-profit board can serve as a gateway to civic involvement and community transformation.

This session will offer an overview of the role nonprofit boards play in driving positive change, as well as practical guidance on how you can become involved and contribute to impactful initiatives. Join us to gain a deeper understanding of the role nonprofit boards play in fostering community changemaking. The session will also discuss exploring various avenues for getting involved with nonprofit organizations and assuming leadership roles.

This event will showcase a panel of individuals with experience navigating the realm of nonprofit boards. They will share their insights and firsthand experiences, offering valuable guidance to demystify the process of getting involved with nonprofit boards. Refreshments will be provided.

This workshop is a part of Engage Winona’s Lived Experience Leaders Program, which provides training and resources to amplify leadership across the socio-economic spectrum in Winona County. This workshop is open to all members of the community. We look forward to seeing you there!
