Celebrating the pulication of Spillway Stories
On a sunny Friday evening in June, Engage Winona and Art of the Rural celebrated the release of a long-cultivated project. Spillway Stories, a culmination of efforts from artists, storytellers, culture bearers, and creators from the upper Mississippi region around Winona was published in a magazine form, to much celebration!
The stories shared by this initiative were produced through a collaborative by Engage Winona and Art of The Rural. This activity is made possible by the Chicago Foundation, and voters of Minnesota through grants from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
